Fujiya & Miyagi are a British group formed in Brighton, East Sussex in 2000. The current line-up consists of David Best (vocals & guitar), Stephen Lewis (synths & vocals), Ed Chivers (drums), and Ben Adamo (bass).

Fujiya & Miyagi are a British group formed in Brighton, East Sussex in 2000. The current line-up consists of David Best (vocals & guitar), Stephen Lewis (synths & vocals), Ed Chivers (drums), and Ben Adamo (bass). To date, they have released nine studio albums: Electro Karaoke in the Negative Style (2002), Transparent Things [2006 (Reissued 2017)], Lightbulbs (2008), Different Blades from the Same Pair of Scissors [2009 Reissued 2017)], Ventriloquizzing (2011), Articial Sweeteners (2014), Fujiya & Miyagi (2017), Flashback(2019), and Slight Variations (2022). They are currently working on their new record which will be released in 2025. They continue to release records under their own Impossible Objects of Desire label, which is distributed by the North Carolina based REDEYE worldwide.
Their music has been used in a wide variety of Television shows including Breaking Bad and Succession, as well as being used in advertisements for Jaguar and Lenovo.
The group have performed globally at notable festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Lovebox, Liverpool Psychfest, Tryptych, Secret Garden Party, Big Chill, Latitude, Meltdown, Great Escape (UK), Bumbershoot, Pitchfork, SXSW (USA), Dour, Melt (Germany), Transmusicale, La Route du Rock (France), Electric Picnic (Ireland), Mosaic (Singapore), Hove Fest (Norway), Pukkelpop (Belgium) plus Primavera and Benicassim (Spain). Over the last 15 years ,they have performed headline shows in both North America, Europe, and more recently, in Asia. They have also performed as support act for New Order, The Fall, and Rodriguez.
