London based vocalist Maksim MC has been involved in the electronic music industry for over 10 years as a host and recording artist. He has featured on releases by producers such as Mefjus, Culprate and Annix which has led him to work with several established labels, including UKF, Critical, Vision, Inspected & Playaz.
His earliest success as a recording artist came in 2012 with the release of ’Nightmares in Reality’ alongside Culprate; the song accumulated millions of plays across streaming platforms and has been performed live across the globe.
In recent years Maksim teamed up with Austrian drum & bass producer Mefjus to host his DJ and live sets. Together they have toured internationally, performing as far as New Zealand and Australia but also at some of Europe’s biggest festivals and club events, including Rampage, Dour, Boomtown and Tomorrowland.
Mefjus & Maksim MC have also collaborated heavily in the studio, with Maksim featuring on both the ‘Emulation’ & ‘Manifest’ albums; it’s safe to say there are many more releases planned from 2022 onwards.
As well as performing as a vocalist, Maksim (Max Sweiry) also composes music for film and has scored 7 feature films as of 2022.
