Ever since her first, self-released EP in 2012, Merely has established herself as a recurring breath of fresh air within Swedish independent music, having released albums on both Sincerely Yours (The Tough Alliance, JJ, Air France) and YEAR0001 (Yung Lean, Drain Gang, Viagra Boys). As a consummate and versatile creator, she has refined and re-invented her expression over the past decade, drawing fragments from dream pop, new age and contemporary electronic music to create affectionate, spiritual soundscapes laden with mysticism, delicate melodies and genuine songcraft.
