Niecy Blues

Niecy Blues is a composer, songwriter, vocalist, thespian, multimedia artist and instrumentalist based in South Carolina, originally growing up on the prairie fields of Oklahoma.. Their work explores themes such as grief, self-acceptance, lineage, ritual and emotional vulnerability. They follow in music’s foundational tradition of black women using both sound and writing to engage in the ritual of self determination and documentation.
