Hailing from the tropical peninsula of Aberdeen in Scotland, rising duo t e s t p r e s s have swiftly been making waves beyond their hometown over the past year. Securing a residency at Glasgow’s Sub Club ahead of the pandemic at the start of 2020, the duo’s year wrapped up on a high with their first label signing on Patrick Topping’s Trick imprint. Elsewhere, they have released tastemaker approved, self-released originals over on Bandcamp that have received an incredible buzz with support from the likes of Denis Sulta, Skream, Kettama, Mark Blair, Big Miz and more. Honing a unique sound that takes influence from a plethora of talent including Mall Grab, Octo Octa, Anz, Ross From Friends & more, t e s t p r e s s describe their music as b i g d u n t e n e r g y. With this signature sound, the pair have now racked up support on airwaves including support from Danny Howard, Annie Mac, Jaguar and Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1 as well as gracing Rinse FM for guest mixes.
