Dubbed an ‘Up & Coming Talent’ and ‘rising star’ by global phenomenon elrow, FLORENTIA is cementing herself as one of the UK’s most exciting fresh artists from London/Essex, as she catapults into the hub of the dance music realm. Beginning to rub shoulders with the upper echelons of electronic music, national and global recognition blossoms for the British born, Greek Cypriot producer, as her name within the industry unveils. Despite her age, she has accomplished things that others strive for their entire career, such as securing an elrow residency, landing debuts in the hedonistic white isle Ibiza on their world-super clubs, Amnesia and Ushuaïa, plus sharing the same stages as industry giants, Jamie Jones, Andrea Oliva, Fisher, Latmun, Franky Rizardo, Paul Kalkbrenner, Solardo, Joris Voorn and Chelina Manuhutu. FLORENTIA’s breakthrough story so far is awe-inspiring, an anomaly, and not a one you hear of often.
Her daring, warm and infectious personality, intertwined with her skill, and unique rolling, addictive 4-to-the -floor, groovy sound and production, is what made elrow take FLORENTIA under their wings. Crowned an ‘Up and Coming Talent’, she won their first worldwide Up & Coming Residency Programme in 2021 out of 4,000 artists globally, captivating many promoters, creators, and house heads overseas. Currently part of the team behind the UK’s most influential house music label, Defected Records, and now part of the elrow family alongside De La Swing, Tini Gessler and George Privatti, it is inevitable that 2022 will be a breakthrough for the young talent, with a plethora of bookings confirmed around all of Europe – Fabrik Madrid, Ibiza, The Netherlands, France, Barcelona, Bulgaria, Italy and her hometown, the heart of electronic music, London.
Born into a family submerged in music, FLORENTIA grew up listening to Soul, Motown, Jazz, 90’s and late 80’s House, which then led to her discovering the Underground House music scene in her early teens. Over the past 5 years she has been honing her
skills and learning at London’s renowned Point Blank Music School from 2017-2020; she graduated with a ‘Music Production and Sound Engineering’ First-class degree and has now been labelled a “Student Success” by none other than Point Blank themselves. Her undeniable drive, ambition, diligence, and ability to find the silver linings in life, stems from being an athlete at a very young age and always thinking that “the sky’s the limit”. There is no doubt that the 23-year-old has an inspiring future ahead of her and is ready to make a stance for herself in club culture & the dance music sphere.
