One of garage pop’s most seminal bands, Harlem have just returned from an 8 year hiatus with a new record.
Harlem started in Tucson, AZ before relocating to Austin where they generated a mountain of attention, both with their live shows and their self-issued 2008 album Free Drugs 😉, mastered by Nathan Sabatino at Loveland Recording Studios.
The band were quickly snapped up by Matador records who released their 2010 album “Hippies” to widespread critical acclaim.
Differences in the band saw them take a hiatus last from 2012 until 2017, when the band reunited for a one off show in Austin and a short tour of Australia. Now in 2018 the band have announced a new record, “Oh Boy”, which is due to land in 2019 on Female Fantasy Records.
