Born in the winter of 2017, Heirloom are a five piece Gloom-Pop-Garage band from Brighton, England.
Heirloom’s sound opens with shared vocals – baritone and
bittersweet alto. They interweave into the eternal, reminiscent of Nancy and Lee
through the cult movie romance of a Tarantino lens. Layers of graceful reverb, delay
and fuzz, amidst colourfully dark organ, surround Heirloom’s jangly guitars.
Heirloom debuted their live performance in January 2018, providing main support to
their friends and Clapton Cowboys – Creatures, before recording with
Younghusband’s Euan Hinshelwood in February 2018.
The band then released their first 7” single ‘Come On Down / Bunny’ in May 2018 and will be releasing their second single in Autumn 2018. Heirloom will be returning to the studio to record and release their debut album in 2019.
Heirloom are Jane Rivers (vocals and guitar), Jade Taaffe (vocals and bass),
Christopher Hallen (backing vocals and guitar), Ben Dawson (keys) and Nick
