Hailing from East London Tempa T, first began performing in 2004 at grime events around the U.K., as well as being a member of the urban collective Slew Dem Crew alongside artists such as Esco Bars Chronik and DJ Spooky. Initial appearances showed early signs of high-energy performances with aggressive lyrical content.He made his presence known in the industry at Chantelle Fiddys night at the Old Blue Last club and 333. In 2006, the EP ‘Spray Dem’ was released, produced by DJ JJ, alongside the massive underground freestyle battle riddim produced by Skitz Beatz. It wasn’t until 2009, when he released the single “Next Hype” (now considered an underground anthem) that he gained success. Moving onto ‘Hypest’ Hype in 2010 featuring on a track with Chase & Status which furthered onto their album no more idols going triple platinum around the globe.In 2012, Tempa T released the mix-tape All-Star Pars, which entered the U.K. album charts at number 37. Tempa T teamed up with Leathal Bizzle and JME for number 11 with the successful track Rari WorkOut. Shortly after releasing an EP called ‘Pree the Baitness’ on the 22nd Dec 2014 available on iTunes. Now following up with another single off his album ‘It’s bait It’s bait’ track entitled Not A Rocker produced by the legends Chase & Status Themselves. Also being the winners at Redbull Culture Clash 2014, Tempa T participated as a guest hurling on with great charisma & energy against his piers which was great entertainment/fiery atmosphere at Earls Court arena.
