Something of a supergroup, with Allysha Joy, Ziggy Zeitgeist, Finn Rees (Close Counters) & Matthew Hayes (Xpress Point) are all soaring as solo artists & band leaders in their own right, yet there is nothing quite like 30/70, united as a singular force; their synergy palpable in this musical tour-de force.

The local heat of their debut release ‘Cold Radish Coma’ was undeniable. It opened the relationship to Rhythm Section International’s Bradley Zero, who released their critically acclaimed sophomore LP ‘Elevate’ followed by ‘Fluid Motion’ and recent heavy hitter single ‘Tastes Like Freedom’. Throughout their travels 30/70 captured ‘Live at La Defense’, a notable performance in France during their 2019 European tour, followed by a remix package of their single ‘Tastes Like Freedom’, confidently transporting their sound to dance floors the world over.

30/70 released their fourth studio album ‘ART MAKE LOVE’ in February 2023 via Energy Exchange Records. Their sound expands far beyond previous markers of Nu-Soul and Jazz, to be inspired heavily by Broken Beat complexity and their own unique culmination of truly collaborative and eccentric songwriting.

30/70 have seen global support across the board, from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Carista, Jamz Supernova, Jamie Cullum, Tom Ravenscroft, Alexander Nut & Mary Anne Hobbs, while also performing at major festivals such as We Out Here, Love Supreme and Meredith Music Festival. A healthy 77k monthly listeners on Spotify, confirms the loyal international fanbase the band have built.
