Growing up above his Dad’s nightclub in St Ives, Cornwall, Charlie Boon’s path was pathed from early. Now 26 and based in Camberwell, London, 2023 was Charlie’s breakthrough year, with a number of highly regarded tracks under his belt , and his highly energetic Dj sets building a legion of fans and love from his peers.
His music has been strongly supported by BBC Radio 1, with over 100+ plays, championed by BBC Introducing and the likes of Skream, TSHA, Eliza Rose, Dan Shake, Girls Don’t Sync, Danny Howard and Sarah Story. Including his first Mini Mix & Peak Time mix on Sarah & Danny’s Radio 1 shows.
Gig highlights include; Feel It, Glastonbury, Boardmasters, Snowboxx, and all night long shows for XOYO’s Pleasurehood. His club night / label, Dad Bod Boogie, has sold out venues in London/Bristol/Cornwall, and holds residencies at Motion, & The Depo, featuring the likes of LF System, Ewan McVicar, Folamour, Dan Shake and Elkka.
With the last two years building the foundations, 2024 is looking like Charlie’s year with a selection of huge releases on a number of prestigious labels. Alongside an ever increasing touring schedule including a support date on Hannah Laing’s U.K tour.
