DJ_Dave is an experimental electronic-pop artist, DJ, and producer, who creates & performs her music using code – a style called algorave. As the first to combine live coding and DJ mixing simultaneously in her shows, Dave has been busy in the live circuit – having played her first live show in June 2021. As a queer female in these spaces, she gracefully dances across the newfound fluidity of the industry, balancing both the music and tech worlds in the palm of her hands, and bringing the concept of live coding to the masses.
She recently released an official edit for Tove Lo’s “No One Dies From Love“, and was the cover of Spotify’s Planet Rave, helping to launch the playlist’s first Clips campaign. This followed her previous solo-single “Castles” (LISTEN HERE), which was self-produced entirely using code, and was her fastest growing single to date – reaching 150,000 streams across all platforms in its first week. She received playlisting on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Lorem, and the cover image & focus track of Planet Rave, Apple’s Electronic Pop, danceXL, and New in Dance, and was SiriusXM’s BPM Breaker track. This track is the precursor to her upcoming self-produced & written debut EP set to release this year, following her first two original releases last fall – “Easy” and “Still Miss U“.
DJ_Dave is also one of the star talents featured in Logitech’s 2022 #DefyLogic campaign – alongside Lizzo, Bretman Rock, Elsa Majimbo, and others.
