Eugene Entsir, best known by his stage name of “Eugy”, is a British Ghanaian, UK-based songwriter & recording artist. Eugy is amongst the key players at the forefront of the wave of African-inspired sonics that has infiltrated the UK scene.
Born in Ghana in 1988, Eugy moved to London, England, in 1994 & has been based there ever since. The blend of his Ghanaian heritage whilst growing up in the heart of London has produced a multi-sonic musician that has nurtured his musical talents from a church instrumentalist to an international star.
Eugy, the “Sweetboy Savage”, has been blessing our airwaves for over 10 years whilst accumulating a worldwide fanbase. Packing out live shows across the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia & UAE, Eugy’s “Officials” have supported his sound across the globe. Along his journey, Eugy has collaborated with the likes of Davido, Mr Eazi, Headie One, King Promise & Farina, to name a few.
In 2016, Eugy teamed up with Nigerian singer-songwriter Mr. Eazi to create the iconic single “Dance for me” which until today creates ripples through the scene. Following on with hits such as “Tick Tock” (2017) & LoLo (2019) Eugy has a track record in timeless afro-inspired hits.
2020 saw a UK/US collaboration with California-born 24KGolden in “Pull-up”. Followed by dance sensation “My Touch”, Eugy teamed up with Chop Daily to create countless viral moments.
Eugy finished off 2022 releasing “Medicine”, featuring Maleek Berry & LADIPOE, and has followed up in 2023 releasing two dance anthems ‘Naughty’ & ‘Konkonsa’.
