Juls is a London Born Ghanaian Producer, DJ and songwriter.
He has produced and worked on records for/with several major acts including Stormzy, Lauryn Hill, Agent Sasco, Jah Cure, Burna Boy, Goldlink, Masego, Tyler the Creator, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Don Toliver, Mr Eazi, and many more.
Juls has several critically acclaimed EPs/Tapes to his name including the classic “Leap of Faith”, “Ojekoo”, “Colour’ “Happy Place” and “Fufu and Grits” with American Producer Sango.
He dropped his debut album “Sounds of My World” in October 2021, and the Deluxe Version was released in August 2022.
Juls sites J Dilla and Kanye West as his idols in music. Over the years Juls has perfected his sound merging his African influences with different genres of music that have influenced him over the years. He has been dubbed as a pioneer in the modern sound of African Pop Music, depicting a minimalistic slow mellow sound to a modern afrobeats vibe. He has also effortlessly ventured and produced different genres including Reggae, House and Baile Funk, with his African style prominently shining through.
