Latir is a London born and bred multi-disciplinary alternative RnB artist with an avant-garde style, fusing together his love for alternative RnB, classic jazz, hip hop and poetry. This can be easily heard & felt through his timelessly uplifting melodies, his affinity toward all things dreamy & nostalgic, and his generously thought out story-telling.
Latir is deeply inspired by live music and thrives in spaces where he is able to perform his stories, having also worked in and live music for the past many years. Along with a lifelong background in singing/songwriting, he has also produced a lot of his own music as well as both recording and playing his preferred instrument bass, in all/most of his music and collaborations… Performing in over 50 shows in 2024 worldwide.
His previous writing has landed him on songs with the likes of Tokio Myers, Krept & Konan and more. whilst also being played on Love Island, Calvin Klein, Soho House and many more.
May 4th saw Latir’s first ever headline show in which he and his band sold out, with support from the incredible Honey Mooncie.
Sonically, he is inspired by the likes of Nick Hakim, Puma Blue, King Krule, Daniel Caesar, Mk.gee, Chezile, Chet Baker, Quincy Jones and more…
Latir released his debut, co-produced EP “Daydreams & Desires”, which has since been published/covered by COLORSxBERLIN, Billboard, CLASH & a handful of Spotify and Apple Music Editorial playlists, including, Alt RnB, Vanguard, New Music Friday (multiple times), Lowlight and New Jams, earning over 2 million streams so far since Summer 2023, and over 50 million streams including features and vocal appearances.
