LIONSTORM is a heavy queercore duo from Amsterdam, the Netherlands consisting of
romantic partners Ski and Stars. They labelled their energetic gory style Dyke Goth Drill
and make music based in the horrorcore, industrial metal and reggaeton genres. Their
work embodies queerness, weirdness and challenging social norms.
Their raw style reflects in their lyrics, performances, music videos , and merchandise which
they all release under the same label. They’ve collaborated with pioneers such as Quay
Dash, Grove and Backxwash.
They are known for their extreme live performances, expert to twerk in the middle of a
bloody mosh pit. Leave your expectations at the door and get pulled into LIONSTORM’s
world. It got them a Japanese and European tour and shows at festivals such as Rolling
Loud Netherlands The Great Escape UK and Fusion Festival Germany.
The duo isn’t afraid of tearing down societal expectations, resulting in bans on all social
platforms (even YouTube) but that only makes them more dedicated to their mission. Their
debut album KING IS DEAD is set to release February 2027 and will reintroduce them
more musically diverse and bloodthirsty than ever.
