Pedro Domínguez Quevedo, known by his name Quevedo, originally from Gran Canaria. As such, his work is influenced by the island’s musical culture, primarily Hip-Hop and Latin rhythms.
On November 22, he released his highly anticipated second album, “BUENAS NOCHES”, an ambitious project that redefines the global Spanish-language urban music scene. It features an innovative blend of striking rhythms, magnetic lyrics, and his unmistakable style. In this work, showcasing his artistic versatility, Quevedo brings together a remarkable list of collaborators, including Aitana, De La Ghetto, De La Rose, La Pantera, Pitbull, Rels B, Sech, Sin Nombre, and Yung Beef.
“BUENAS NOCHES” broke the record for the most Spotify streams in Spain within the first 24 hours of its release, with 10.9 million plays, surpassing the record set by his previous release, Donde Quiero Estar. In Spain, it dominated the top 20, with all 18 songs from the album charting. Quevedo is the most-streamed Spanish artist in Spotify Spain’s history. Globally, the album debuted with a total of 19.2 million streams on the Spotify Global chart. Within the first 24 hours, four songs made it into the Global Top 200: ‘GRAN VÍA’, ‘KASSANDRA’, ‘IGUALES’, and ‘LOS DÍAS CONTADOS’.
