Rachika Nayar
Across her first full-length releases, producer and multi-instrumentalist Rachika Nayar reimagined the limits of guitar for modern electronic music. Her debut, Our Hands Against the Dusk (2021), bent the instrument through her unique granular processing into bittersweet ambient landscapes. With Heaven Come Crashing (2022), she pivoted toward impassioned maximalism: trance synths, post-rock swells, and Amen breaks, all erupting in crescendos of heartbreak and euphoria. But throughout these shifts, the thread remains the same: music that channels blistering emotion through constant reinvention. Yearning, haunting, cathartic, and impossible to pin to a single genre.
