In just a few short years Ruger has become one of Nigeria’s biggest artists. Describing his music as Afrodancehall – a fusion of Afrobeats with Dancehall elements – Ruger has brought childhood inspirations with his natural musical abilities to create music that has captivated audiences from around the world. His impressive catalogue includes many multi mullioning streaming records including ‘Asiwaju’, ’Toma Toma’ with Tiwa Savage,‘Girlfriend’, ‘Dior’,‘Bounce’ and ‘We We’.He has also collaborated with a vast array of other superstar artists such as Rema, BNXN, Clean Bandit, David Guetta & Anne Marie.
Ruger has toured relentlessly over the past few year and will be undertaking another tour across Europe and North America later this year. His co-signs include the likes of Davido. Popcaan, Don Jazzy and Burna Boy, who he supported in London previously. Ruger released his much anticipated second full length album earlier this year with features from Kranium, Zlatan, Valiant, Haile, and Tiwa Savage!
