VIVACE
Forged in Aberdeen and built on a shared obsession with the underground scene, Vivace are Jamie Johnston and Ritchie Carter – a duo rapidly making their mark on the global dance scene. Their sound sits at a collision point of hard house, trance and garage, giving them a versatility that resonates across genres.
The duo’s momentum has been building fast. Their breakout track ‘Preach’ with Ocean has surpassed 650,000 streams, and they are playing their debut set with Teletech in Leeds in October. Their ‘DJ Love invites Vivace b2b Obstrukt’ set on Rinse FM was selected in Mixmag’s ‘DJ mixes of the year 2025 so far’, praised for its blend of bassline, techno and trance. Recent support from Faster Horses has earned them a slot at his London headline show at Village Underground, as well as an official release with him titled ‘There’s Nothing Else’, set to be released this year.
With a sound that refuses to be boxed in and a growing international profile to match, Vivace are only just getting started.
