Wonky Logic is the project of Leeds born composer, producer, and multi instrumentalist Dwayne Kilvington – an artist operating at the intersection of jazz, electronic music and contemporary composition. Drawing on a background that moves from community music spaces in Leeds to London’s evolving jazz and improvised scenes, his work bridges live musicianship and studio based production with a distinctive, rhythm-led approach.

Wonky Logic

Alongside his own project, he has contributed as a musician, producer and songwriter writer across a wide range of contexts – working with artists including Nala Sinephro, Eddie Chacon, Nubya Garcia, Nightmares on Wax, Yellow Days and K.O.G. His work spans touring, studio recording and composition, with an increasing focus on film scoring and cross-disciplinary projects. His work has seen national and international radio play – support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC 1 Xtra and strong and consistent DSP editorial playlist support including Jazz-Funk, Jazztronica, Ibiza 2026, Pool Party, Global Groove, Altar and Umami.

The last few years have seen Wonky Logic tour globally in territories such as USA, and Japan with Nala Sinephro, central Europe with Nightmares on Wax and perform numerous headline and support shows in London at the likes of Electric Brixton,Ninety One Living Room, Kings Place and Ronnie Scotts and Village Underground. He’s also made various appearances at festivals such as We Out Here and Super Sonic Jazz Festival.

Now emerging with his debut album on Brownswood Recordings, Wonky Logic brings together a six piece band, which presents a body of work built from compositions written across different stages of his life, including material dating back to his teenage years. The result is a project that feels both immediate and deeply rooted, where recurring harmonic ideas and rhythmic patterns surface and evolve. With a recent artist feature on Defected Records with prominent DJ & house producer, Mele and an upcoming debut album on Brownswood Recordings, Wonky Logic positions himself as an exciting new artist within the industry, one equally at home in jazz spaces, electronic contexts and interdisciplinary settings.
